Or more specifically, which smartphone can play mp4 video and divx movies without skipping?
My SPV M3100 cannot, and apparently neither can the HTC TyTN II (which looks startlingly similar to the M3100). They both run the Windows Mobile operating system.
Does anyone know the answer?
I don’t know much about video formats, so I don’t know if there can be much variation between mp4 formats.

The Samsung Omnia with 16 GB built-in storage and microSD expansion is Divx certified.

Have you tried a different media player than the standard one that comes with Windows Mobile? Try this: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-tcpmp-v0-72rc1.html – I have it installed and can play these files no problem. I have used an HTC Touch Diamond and also an Orange SPV M500. There is a new version (CorePlayer) but it costs so you may want to try this first before thinking about paying for one.
