I can count that as another of Windows Vista annoyances — despite having Windows updates running, *and* Dell support center, with built in “alerts”, which opens up when I log in — I have not received so much as a single notification that SP1 was even released. Unbelievable!

To be honest I think I’m going to install Windows 2000 instead. They never really improved on 2000’s stability and speed.
